ST PATRICKS DAY RETURNS TO JERICHO!
THE CORNERMEN''s 2025 ST PATRICKS DAY SPECIAL
Not since the craic did 90 down the Botley Road has Oxford anticipated the likes of this Paddy's Day Special from The Cornermen.
The Oxfordshire-Irish five-piece return to the Jericho Tavern, unleashing a celebration of popular song.
Since the Guinness last ran dry on Walton Street the combo has played gigs across the national, and their records have been streamed over a million times worldwide. But theyre here to assure us, there's nothing like playing in front of a lively audience. Their invented cavalcade of songs comes much inspired by the likes of the Dubliners and The Pogues.
Expect rousing fiddle and guitar solos in songs like "Hunger" and "Friendly Fire" as well as strong Celtic influences in ballads like "Down the Road."
High-energy rockers Master Bizarre kickstart the party in cahoots with support from Chrome Horse Diplomats, playing soul and classic rock direct from the "Costa Del Didcot."
The Cornermen band evolved out of the Cornermen project which is a support service at South Moreton Boxing Club, working in the field of Men's Mental Health.
