Stanley Players Panto 2025 - Rumpelstiltskin

The Stanley Players are pleased to present "Rumpelstiltskin" - a Pantomime by those local literary legends: Simon Ives and Siobhan Williams.

Cheer up your January, and follow the adventures of the residents of Baron's Stanley...and the evil Rumpelstiltskin!

Rumpelstiltskin is even grumpier than usual: all he wants is a playmate - but nobody wants to be his friend...

Meanwhile, the crops are ruined, so the villagers have no money to pay Baron Berkeley. Mick the Miller panics, and foolishly claims that his daughter Mary can turn straw into gold. The Baron promptly kidnaps her! What will happen, when she can't perform this impossible task?

Rumpelstiltskin realises that Mary might have something he wants, and turns to his doting Aunties - the 3 witches - to help him. |Do they have the secret to making gold from straw? Will Rumpy help Mary and, if so, at what cost?
