Steel Dancin 09: Breaka, Syntax, Apricot Ballroom

Details

Breaka: Born in London, Breaka started DJing while living in Leeds, experimenting with footwork, garage, juke and dub at clubs and house parties. His production break-through came in 2018 with his Rorys Theme / Puffer Jackets EP on Holding Hands Records. In 2021, Breakas productions permeated dance floors worldwide, accelerated by his widely-celebrated debut album, We Move. Breakas DJ sets have come to embody the versatility, range and vibrancy of the UK underground, and hes grown into an artist unafraid to explore, experiment and push boundaries. Syntax: DJ/Producer based in Manchester specialising in turbo rave music. Her sets range anywhere between pure old school jungle, jungle techno and hardcore selections from the early 90's to tekky footwork and juke infused sets. We cannot wait to welcome Syntax for her Steel Dancin debut, this one is gunna be a banger! Apricot Ballroom: Apricot Ballroom (made up of Joi La Frique & Nonna Fab) is an audiophile psychedelic party based in Sheffield, who have been throwing these parties since early 2018, inspired by the ethos and mentality of David Mancusos Loft parties in New York. Alongside their parties, they have also been running and gradually building an audiophile Klipschorn-based sound system which has made a name in its own right.
