Details

Suitable for ages 16+. This workshop will take inspiration from the 'Nature Nurture' exhibition to make characters for a short animation. Using recycled materials, you will have the opportunity to bring your creatures to life by photographing them with your mobile phone/tablet to make a short stop animation. You can even collaborate and work as groups to make a film with a range of characters in it. Please bring along a smart phone or tablet to take part in this workshop. Katie Forrester is a senior lecturer in illustration and has exhibited work nationally and held the position of Artist in Residence with Scotland’s Early Literature for Children Initiative (SELCIE). This event is suitable for adults and over 16s. Please note the location of this event is the Museum of Edinburgh. Please meet in reception.
