Best known for her work with the band “Lush Life” Jane Parker includes work at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Café de Paris and Le Cafconce (Casablanca) on a lengthy and impressive CV. Her hypnotic renditions of classic standards are quite special, possessing a timeless elegance that is both wistful and sweet. Her first CD, “Alligator Lounge”, was recorded with Lush Life for 33 Records while her second, “A Whisper of Love, A Whisper of Hate” is a solo record ‘inspired by her love of cinema’, which received significant airplay on both Smooth and Jazz FM.
