Swagatham - A Tribute To Padmashiri Dr John Marr

Dr. John Marr, a renowned British Indologist and one of the founding trustees of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan UK, possessed an encyclopaedic knowledge of Indian culture and was a guiding light for many in the world of Carnatic music theory. His passing on May 19th, 2022, at the age of 95, marked the end of an era, but his legacy continues to inspire.This event promises to be a profound and moving tribute, celebrating Dr. Marr's immense contribut ions to the world of music and culture. All proceeds from the performance will be donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
