The Royal Devon Hospitals Charity is raising £150,000 to create a separate space for children and families within the new Emergency Department at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. This dedicated children's area will feature ocean-themed murals, interactive digital equipment, and comfortable seating, ensuring a calm and welcoming environment. The transformation will greatly enhance the care for around 30,000 young patients a year, providing a safe and friendly space away from the busy adult ED.
