Details

Come with us to the lands of ice and snow, where mountains roar and the aurora glows. We have two tales to share with you, full of magic, mayhem and walruses!

Lucia and the Light tells the story (with kind permission by the author, Phyllis Root) of a brave young girl who sets out to rescue the sun from the clutches of some terrible trolls. The Not-Invited Guest is inspired by an older Inuit tale and shows how a lovable old man has to use his wits to save his village from a rude and smelly visitor!

Tales of the Far North is an enchanting, fun and vibrant family show with storytelling and puppetry, brought to you by Pip Jones of Skylarker and James Richardson of Angel Heart Theatre.

Pip brings decades of experience in storytelling and participatory arts, while James is a master puppeteer and artisan inspired by myth, history, and the natural world. Together, they’ve created a show that’s as vibrant and engaging as it is heartwarming.
