TDE: Luis Vicente with Paul Dunmall, Olie Brice and Mark Sanders

Luis Vicente is an improvising trumpet player who is at the heart of the very lively scene in Portugal; he came to mac a year ago to play with three of the UK's top improvisers, saxophonist Paul Dunmall, bass player Olie Brice and drummer Mark Sanders. It was an amazing gig and as a result Olie and Mark travelled to Coimbra in central Portugal for their annual jazz festival which had a British focus in 2024. It is very pleasing that these UK Portuguese links continue.
