The Actor's Forge: The Meisner Technique Intensive

Curated for those wanting to sharpen their acting tools and hone their technique, The Actor's Forge presents an intensive workshop that will focus on the teachings of Sanford Meisner and his pioneering exercises, notably the famous "repetition exercise". Meisner's philosophy of "living truthfully under imaginary circumstances" is one of the great foundations of acting and this one day intensive will supply each participant with a great base to work from. Suitable for those discovering the technique or those returning to it.

The Actor's Forge is run by Niall Costigan, a York based creative with over 20 years of extensive experience acting in Theatre, T.V and Film. He is an internationally renowned workshop leader and is incredibly excited to present The Actor's Forge at Friar Gate Theatre.

We will work from 10-4pm with a break for lunch.
