The Allies cross the Rhine

Operation Veritable, the Allied offensive to liberate the Reichswald and upper Rhineland in Germany, was a fierce and bloody campaign. Scottish troops played a pivotal role in these intense winter battles, facing harsh conditions as they fought to cross the legendary Rhine River.
