The Book Lovers

Tarporley Amateur Dramatic Society presents "The Book Lovers" a comedy about life, love, literature and the importance of nice coffee. ​

The action takes place behind the scenes of the village book festival. With the guest speaker embroiled in a local scandal the organisers are struggling to find a replacement to save the festival and "put the village on the map". The committee members are perhaps not all who they appear to be, the village hall handyman's home made Moonshine creates some hazy memories of "the night before" and with the local BBC turning up to cover the event who will save the day? A clever, gentle comedy by our very own Jeff Chadwick (The Return of the Black Cat ).
