Fifteen-year-old maths whiz Christopher Boone lives with his divorced dad in Swinton, a working-class town west of London. After being falsely accused of killing a neighbour's dog, Christopher—who is brilliant but has difficulty dealing with the sounds and stresses of everyday life—decides to investigate the crime.
Thursday 20th February performance will be a relaxed performance. The performance will be adapted for the evening, and there will be a more relaxed atmosphere - especially some of the more "traditional" theatre rules like needing to stay in your seat and be quiet throughout. Some of the lighting and sound cues will be changed for the performance, to remove any loud music and sudden noises, strobe lighting will be switched off, and any other flashing lights will be slowed down. The auditiorium lights will remain on at a low level throughout the performance. You're welcome to enter and leave the auditorium as you need to, and there's space in our bar to sit quietly if you feel you need to. In advance of the evening, information will be posted on our website about how to find the theatre, some details about the performance and photographs of the theatre, front of house areas and auditorium. In addition, if you need to visit the theatre before the day of the production, we will do our best to accomodate this. We ask that anyone attending this performance is supportive and understanding of other audience members needs - please remember that some people may express their enjoyment in different ways, and everyone has an equal right to be at the performance. If you do have any questions, please feel free to drop us an e-mail (boxoffice@apollo-theatre.org.uk), or leave a message on our answerphone (01983 210 010)
