Join us for an extraordinary adventure into Dartmoor’s prehistoric past with a special performance starring some brand new puppet friends! Have you been for a picnic on Dartmoor, trekked across the windswept wilds, and scrambled to the top of the highest craggy Tor your can find? You probably picture the miles of rolling, boggy moorland, dotted with wandering ponies, broken by jutting fingers of grey granite and babbling streams. It seems like one of the most natural landscapes in Britain… …Except it isn’t. Told through the experiences of whimsical puppets, jump in to explore Dartmoor like never before, when it was coated in lush forests, populated by wolves and bears, and when people lived in stone huts. How did our predecessors change Dartmoor into the radical landscape we know today, and what can that tell us about our own impact on the environment? About: Dartmoor based theatre company MED Theatre present a two woman puppetry performance for families, where prehistoric Dartmoor will be brought to life. Join our puppet friends as we explore the historic and longstanding causes of changes to our environment, and the decisions made by our predecessors that still impact our way of life today. Book your preferred performance time – 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm Children must be accompanied by a paying adult
