The Dumb Waiter By Harold Pinter

The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter is an exploration of what later came to be known as the Comedy Of Menace. This One Act play features two assassins waiting to get 'the call' which will inform them of the arrival of their next victim. The play alternates between farce and high tension, as the two hit men painfully demonstrate the truth of Sartre's observation that 'hell is other people'. The play will be performed by The Absurd Theatre Company, who hail from Mid-Wales. This is their inaugural production and this performance is part of a planned national tour.
