The Longest Yarn'- Conwy Orchestra: WWII Inspired Concert

Details

Extremely talented orchestra based in Conwy will treat us to well known WWII ispired pieces, sure to bring many emotions to the fore. We are indeed lucky to have them support us.

The Conwy Town Orchestra was formed as the Conwy Ensemble in 2010 by the then Mayor Vicky MacDonald, our conductor Rosina Hearn and our leader Ruth Parker. In 2017, the name was changed to Conwy Town Orchestra.

The Conwy Town Orchestra is a vibrant, engaging and dynamic orchestra based in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Conwy in North Wales. Throughout the year we play and perform classical music in an enjoyable and sociable setting. We aim to achieve a high standard of performance, and believe that, for an amateur orchestra, enjoyment is the most important part making music. This means that our members look forward to Thursday evenings from both a musical and social perspective.

If you’re interested in coming along and playing, then leave us a message using our contact page [https://www.conwytownorchestra.org.uk/contact-us/].
