The Louis Wildi Trio

The Louis Wildi Trio blend musical influences from greats like Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett , exploring a linear, expansive sound that stretches the boundaries of the traditional trio format with original compositions and arrangements. These three musicians are emerging from their final year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music. Led by Louis Wildi on alto and soprano saxophones, a vibrant young player making a mark on the scene, who has had the privilege of studying under esteemed mentors such as Mike Williams and Julian Siegel.

He is joined by Ethan Sweeting, highly celebrated amongst his peers as a creative and versatile drummer inspired by the likes of Roy Haynes and Elvin Jones, and Oli Fitzgerald, hailing from the Midlands, a bass player with a independence and a dynamic range.
