The Met’s Comedian of the Year Competition 2025

The Met’s annual comedy competition is back!

Don’t miss this chance to see six up-and-coming comedians perform and compete for a £600 prize, and the prestigious title of The Met’s Comedian of the Year.

Competing will be Al Stevenson, Becky Umbers, Ben Silver, Jules O’Brian, Lovell Smith, and Michael Mannion.

The evening will compered by Comedy Store and Frog & Bucket veteran Mick Ferry, with the winner decided by an expert panel of judges.

The Met’s Comedian of the Year Competition is organised by Comedy in a Van, the people behind First Thursday Comedy.
