Join us for a screening of the festive classic and find out whether the laws of physics could permit Scrooge to visit his Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. The Muppets' rendition of Charles Dickens' classic tale puts a unique twist on that fateful Christmas Eve, when Scrooge (Sir Michael Caine) is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. Together with kind, humble Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) and his family, the Spirits open Scrooge's eyes— and his heart—to the true meaning of Christmas. This screening will be introduced by a talk by Professor Alan Heavens, Chair in Astrostatistics at Imperial College for a talk about the science of time travel, entitled, How Could Scrooge visit his Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come?
