The Planets 360

In November 1920, the first complete recital of Gustav Holst's The Planets Suite was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Albert Coates. Over 100 years later, the team at NSC Creative and the Philharmonia Orchestra have completely reimagined the suite as a fulldome film that is truly an immersive sonic experience.

Join us in the Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre to be surrounded by Holst's stirring personification of the planets, brought to life by the award-winning team at NSC Creative, and projected across our 15m dome. Prior to the film, our team of expert astronomers will take you on a tour of the night sky above Glasgow.
