Details

A six-mile circular walk that begins and ends at the quiet Derbyshire village of Taddington, led by a local guide with over 35 years experience of leading walks in the area. From Taddington, it climbs the hills above the village, which provide fine views of the surrounding Peak District countryside on the way to the nearby village of Flagg and the haunted Flagg Hall. It then passes through the highest village in Derbyshire, Chelmorton, with its well-preserved Medieval strip fields and evidence of historic mineral mining, before stopping off at the Neolithic tomb at Five Wells on the way to the finish back in Taddington.
