Details
Rome is crumbling. The election of a new leader does little to ease the decay as decorated soldier Titus sees the morality of his world replaced by murder, rape and cannibalism. The only way he can displace this moral void is to extract a violent, bloody revenge on those that have wronged him.
Shakespeare’s most bloody tragedy poses questions on sexuality, class and society as it holds a mirror up to a world that is, worryingly, all too recognisable.
This production contains violence, gunshots and sexual content. There are violent scenes throughout that some audience members may find distressing.
The programme has been designed by working professionals to allow students to develop the skills required for performing on stage and screen. This joint approach gives experience of both mediums and offers the student a distinct advantage in the job market or to explore further the craft of Acting. Students develop core acting skills in voice, characterisation and physicality which are to be utilised in performances for stage and screen.
