"Live Act of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards in 2023, Trail West are an explosive six-piece line-up with strong links to the Western Highlands and Islands.

2025 is the band’s fifteenth year and the year-long celebrations will begin on the 18th January at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow as part of Celtic Connections, as they continue to rise in popularity from their modest roots as a four-piece West Coast Cèilidh Band to a formidable Live Act worthy of any festival stage.

Trail West enjoyed a hugely successful 2024 with the release of their highly acclaimed fifth album, "Thirsty Work", and their biggest headline show so far at the O2 Academy Glasgow. Their first headline show at Celtic Connections is the perfect way to get the celebrations underway!"
