Treorchy Male Choir

Details

Along with many Welsh choirs The Treorchy Male Choir has a long history stretching back to the late 19th Century. It is based in the ex-mining community in the village of Treorchy in the Rhondda Valley.

Since reforming in 1946 the Choir has deservedly established themselves as one of the most prominent in the country. The music has evolved to incorporate some popular music as well as their repertoire of Welsh favourites. The Choir’s popularity is reflected in the demand for their live performances both in the UK and internationally as well as their long list of recordings and TV appearances. The Choir’s enjoyment in their music is clear to hear and see for anyone fortunate enough to watch them.

The evening is a charity event organised by Cheltenham Lions Club to fund free holidays for people in need in our serviced caravan. A donation from any profits will also be made to Maggie’s Cancer Trust in Cheltenham to help them with their important work.

Please join us for an enjoyable evening.
