This months concert is a collection of music by women composers to mark International Womens Day (8th March).
The programme includes the Phantasy Trio by Irish composer Joan Trimble, and works by Rosalind Ellicott, Elfrida Andre, Adela Maddison, Dora Pejacevic and Clara Schumann.
Note: This concert will be performed in the first-floor Function Room
Trio Paradis consists of Jacquelyn Bevan (piano), Ruth OShea (violin) & Linda Stocks (cello) who play a Caf Concert at the Athenaeum on the first Friday afternoon of each month at 3.00pm: an informal music event in the community, with a pop-up caf serving home-made cakes, where you can meet friends for a chat after the concert (c3.45 - 4.15pm)
Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection.
