OLIVER TWIST
Adapted by Guy Williams Reproduced with permission of the Licensor through PLSclear.
Titchfield Youth Theatre’s production of Charles Dickens’ second novel, Oliver Twist, is the classic story of an orphan boy, kept on starvation rations in a parish workhouse, who dares to ask for more. Escaping to London, Oliver falls into the clutches of Fagin, the murderous Bill Sykes and a gang of young thieves. This, true to the book, story differs dramatically from the musical version as it portrays a darker, more violent and realistic view of Victorian London.
