Urram do Choinneach / Honouring Kenneth - Glasgow Gaelic Musical Association Celebration Concert

Details

Ceòlraidh Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu/Glasgow Gaelic Musical Association, known as the GG, are Scotland’s oldest and largest Gaelic choir, performing Gaelic choral music in the heart of Glasgow since 1893.

Join us for our final concert under the baton of Kenneth Thomson BEM, who is retiring as conductor after 42 years. During his time at the helm, the choir have had huge success, performing at many prestigious events and winning the coveted Lovat & Tullibardine shield at the Royal National Mòd on many occasions.

The evening has been curated by Kenneth to include many of his famous choral arrangements of traditional Gaelic songs, and solo performances from Mòd Gold Medallists Jenna Cumming, Joy Dunlop, Donald-Iain Brown, Ryan Johnston & Joanie Morrison who are all current or former members of the GG.

Join us for a very special evening of joy and celebration and experience the very best of Gaelic music and tradition!
