WPC is delighted to welcome back Emily Dickens, a highly acclaimed singer, choir director and workshop leader to direct our Choral Workshop. She was a founder member of Winchester Cathedral Girls' Choir and a soprano in the critically acclaimed British vocal ensemble VOCES8 for eight years before commencing her international solo career. Emily is Creative Director of Gabrieli Roar who recently won the 2024 Gramophone Choral Award for their much celebrated recording of Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius. She is also a Chorus Master for the London Symphony Orchestra Choirs, and Conductor of the National Youth Choir.
The workshop will help with many aspects of choral singing including vocal techniques, intonation and sound colour. We might even try some jazz and a cappella styles!
