SongWave presents: Wassail! Songs for the turning of the year Wassail is the Anglo-Saxon word to wish someone 'Good Health’. We’ll perform carols covering the British Isles across many centuries from 'Hagman Heigh', a 14th Century Hogmanay song from West Yorkshire, to Sheffield pub carols, a rediscovered bell carol from Barnsley, and visiting songs from Somerset. We aim to bring you good cheer and plenty of good luck for the coming year ahead. Seasonal refreshments will be served during the interval.
