Wherever She Is, There Is Eden

Details

There is no such thing as a coincidence...

So when Niamh erupts into consciousness, it must be for a reason. They don’t know what they are, let alone who they are or where they’re going; all they know is they feel exactly like an experiment. And just when they manage to adjust to this new environment, they have the sneaking suspicion that they are being watched. Inspired by Mark Twain’s classic The Diaries of Adam and Eve, this dramatic re-reinterpretation of a story etched into the collective consciousness explores the inventive force of language, the struggle to belong, and the relationship between discovering and creating one’s identity. Following Fundamentals Theatre Company’s sell-out run in 2023, the ever-curious Niamh returns bringing her invention, joy, and ‘articulate phrases’.
