A fun and free singing and signing workshop hosted by CJ. This event is free but a deposit of £3 per person is payable and reimbursed on arrival. If you are a no-show you will not be refunded. Please arrive 15 minutes early. This workshop is being held in Whitefriars Shopping Centre, Whitefriars Square, Canterbury
In this workshop, you will have so much fun, singing well-known songs and learning the signs (Makaton) to go with them. All ages and abilities welcome, but aimed at the younger audience.
CJ is a full time teacher by day (music specialist and Lead Teacher in an autism provision), musician by night and a workshop leader at the weekends and holidays!
A singer songwriter, CJ also plays keyboards/ piano, guitar, ukulele, flugel horn/ trumpet & specialises in the drum kit/ percussion (has spent time in West Africa), and gigs and runs workshops at venues and festivals all over the UK. CJ also runs many open mic nights every month in the Canterbury area where she promotes local talent, from beginners to professionals!
CJ cannot wait to be involved in this wonderful, inclusive, community project.
