Details

Would you like to get out and about and help us record local wildlife on the way?

Join us for a six mile circular walk (mostly on flat paths with a couple of inclines along the way, no stiles) from Amble Braid Car Park, following the River Coquet to Warworth, around the Castle, and back down through farmland along the St Oswald's Way path.

We will be recording as many plants, birds and other species on the way as we can, using survey forms and phone apps such as iNaturalist.

Beginners and experts welcome, no equipment needed - just bring yourselves! All children to be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for keen walkers aged 10+.

Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather. Please bring your own refreshments or purchase own along the way, there will be a lunch stop.

Well behaved dogs welcome.
