Will Wilde has taken the harmonica way beyond its traditional blues roots since he first emerged on the music scene in 2010. Wildes hard-edged harmonica steals the spotlight from the traditional blues rock guitar, with a sound that owes as much to Gary Moore as it does to Sonny Boy Williamson. "Im always looking to make new sounds with the harmonica, pushing its boundaries, trying to change peoples perception of it. In fact Wilde has gone one step further and created his own signature "Wilde Tuned" harmonicas so he can play licks that werent possible before. They enable me to hold my own with any blues rock guitarist. Wilde has performed at blues clubs and festivals all over the World and has released four studio albums and one live album: Unleashed (2010), Raw Blues (2013), Live In Hamburg (2015), Bring It On Home (2018) and Bad Luck Friday (2022), as well as appearing as a guest harmonica player on albums by Walter Trout, Earl Thomas, Toby Lee, Dani Wilde, Marcus Malone, Krissy Matthews and Brave Rival. Wilde was nominated "Instrumentalist of the Year" in the UK Blues Awards 2024. Grace & Danger UK Touring Blues Rock Powerhouse. Eastbourne and Brighton based Blues Rock band Grace and Danger are quickly becoming known as the must see new-blood act on the UK music scene. The band consists of the two brothers, the explosive Rory Purdey (Guitar/Vocals) and the highly esteemed Aiden Purdey (Drums/Percussion). As well as playing music festivals and legendary venues such as The Forum (Tunbridge Wells), The Carlisle (Hastings), The Clutha (Glasgow), The Black Heart and The Fiddlers Elbow (Camden) and most recently The Cavern Pub (Liverpool) and Matt & Phreds (Manchester) the band has a particularly devoted following on the South Coast. The guys are often compared to the likes of Prince and The Revolution, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Joe Bonamassa and Rival Sons. Although they have their influences, dont let the comparisons fool you, these guys have a sound all of their own and its clear from their writing; there is something for everyone. Line Up - Rory Purdey - Guitar/Vocals Aiden Purdey - Drums/Percussion The frontman Rory Purdey (vocals, lead guitar) brings an eruptive amalgam of Jimmy Hendrix, Steve Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa. Combined with his signature original sound and tone, he makes his guitar purr whenever he starts to play. Audiences are drawn in by Rorys incredible song-writing, ear-catching vocals and virtuosic guitar playing. With the experienced and highly esteemed Aiden Purdey on drums the band gets space to deliver a dynamic and creative thrill show. His spectacular drumming is as integral to the Grace and Danger sound as John Bonhams to Zeppelin, or Keith Moons to The Whos. As well as keeping a tight groove for the band to work with, Aiden is also known for his impressive drum solos which have become a staple of their longer shows. Aiden is also highly in demand as a live and studio session drummer who is well versed in all genres. Over the years the boys have had various different line ups and have discovered that it works best when they are the driving force behind the band with less moving parts. That being said they have been very lucky to have been able to play with various fantastic bass players over the years and have some of the best Sussex and the wider areas has to offer at their disposal, so they will always have a full line up to rock with when the time calls for it. They also have a huge influence on their musical heritage. Rory and Aidens Uncle John Martyn (OBE) give them an extra special bond to not only the name of the band but the music they produce within. My Uncle, John Martyn, had a special connection to music there was a directness and integrity to his playing and writing we hope we carry on some of that legacy..
