The legend of the Vibraphone comes to Woodstock Jazz
Vibraphonist Roger Beaujolais [https://www.rogerbeaujolais.com] is one of the UK’s foremost vibes players. If you haven’t heard or seen him live before at top venues throughout the UK and beyond, you may have caught his playing on Fairground Attraction’s 1988 album ‘First of a Million Kisses’ and on recordings with Robert Plant, Morrissey, Alison Limerick, Kirsty MacColl and many more. He is a superb technician, great musician and an authority of course, on the history of the vibraphone as an instrument in Jazz. We’ve booked a great trio to perform with Roger: The ever-youthful pianist Tom Berge, the not so youthful Paul Jefferies (double bass) and expert drummer Euan Palmer. We’re looking forward to a memorable night of great live, entertaining jazz.
