The jazz fiddle wonder - Ben Holder - is back with his acclaimed show. Guaranteed to reach the parts of swing that other musicians rarely manage to do. From an early age, Ben took the classical route on violin, astounding teachers with his quick grasp of the instrument and his astonishing ability to play in-tune, even at grade one! Hes come a long way since then, but very much exploring the jazz tradition. His own band - the BHQ (Ben, guitarist Jez Cook, bassist Paul Jefferies and drummer Nick Millward) - create a show that has scorchingly fast swing at its heart, juxtaposition that with balladic pathos and groove and you have an astonishing show. If youve not seen Ben before, be prepared for a big surprise!
