Word Play

Jason Parkes is an award-winning writer, theatre director and facilitator who has been making stories, plays and poems with children for over 20 years. Come and have fun creating playful performance poems with lots of interactive activities that help children play with words in fun creative ways. We will use our senses and play with rhyme, rhythm, sound and image. This workshop will let you paint with poetry and draw with words. This is a writing workshop where you don’t actually need to write anything down (or up) but you might decide you want to.  Jason’s research for this workshop has been kindly supported by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
