Workshop: Garden decorations willow work course with Jo Hammond

Make bulrushes and dragonflies for your garden. These lovely willow pieces are quick to make and so effective displayed in a flower bed. Each design introduces different basketry skills: for instance, theres twisting and wrapping, and corn dolly weave, all demonstrated in easy stages, step by step. In a day, you can expect to make at least three bulrushes and two dragonflies enough for an eye-catching group in your garden.

Note- willow weaving is moderately hard work and does require a firm grip

Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please either bring a packed lunch or visit the on-site Tiptree Tearoom.

The ticket price includes all materials and any necessary tools will be provided. This workshop is only suitable for over 18s.
