World War II Concert

With the 80th anniversary of VE day being marked on May 8th, Wrekin will be putting on this concert to mark this significant landmark event. The music on the evening will include (plus others!) Calling All Workers : Eric Coates The Warsaw Concerto : Richard Addinsell. Soloist Alexander Arenare Nunc Dimittis : Geoffrey Burgon Selected movements from the Karl Jenkins Mass for Peace : The Armed Man

Wrekin College Chapel Choir will be joined by the Wrekin College Community Choir, Wrekin Prep Choir, Jackfield Band and Telford Concert Band.

All profits will go to the Wrekin Foundation
