A challenging and satisfying writing workshop for adult writers (16+) to work collaboratively and weave a common narrative. If you’re protective of your writing or struggle to accept feedback then this workshop might be what you need to leave your comfort zone and work with others in a fun relaxed environment. There’ll be playwriting, group storytelling and really really long pencils…

This workshop is a fun experience and not meant to be a critical writing lesson. It's a chance to work with new people and bounce your ideas around in a safe, creative space. There's no previous experience required and writers of all levels are welcome.

Don't forget to bring your favourite writing tools and a notebook to capture all your brilliant ideas. We can't wait to see you there!

This event is hosted by Scott Thomas - an artist and theatremaker who's work focuses on space, heritage and our environment. His Theatre Company Stravaig Theatre creates multimedia performance work across Scotland. Scott is a skilled playwright whose original work has received sell out runs at the Edinburgh Horror Festival and been exhibited across Industrial Museum Scotland’s venues around the country. Scott works as a dramaturg helping new writers and regularly runs drama and relaxed creative writing workshops at The Wee Retreat.

As a champion of Creativity, Scott advocates that everyone is creative and we are all artists.
