SEALL is delighted to announce the 2024 edition of its flagship Festival of Small Halls, which promises to be its most extensive yet.
Covering performances across the Skye and Lochalsh region, as well as a first foray across to Lewis and Harris in collaboration with An Lanntair, this year’s festival programme will showcase both a sense of vibrancy and a resounding celebration of our regions’ Small Halls culture. And as the nights draw in, it will once again serve to bring our communities together.
This year’s Festival of Small Halls line-up features the stellar talents of leading Scottish fiddle player Amy Geddes; Shetland pianist and Scottish Album Of The Year Award 2024 nominee Amy Laurenson; An Dannsa Dubs frontman Euan McLaughlin; singer-songwriter and BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2018 Hannah Rarity; Daimh and Glenelg’s own Murdo Cameron; Lochaber-based harper and pianist Ingrid Henderson; former Elephant Sessions bass player Seth Tinsley; and Elgin singer-songwriter and composer Siobhan Wilson.
A multi-talented 2024 band more than fit to continue the exemplary standard set by artists from previous years – and one that will also highlight what’s possible when musicians from across the full spectrum of traditional and contemporary musical genres come together to create unique sets of music.
