Brumel Earthquake Mass and Renaissance Motets

This activity is completed or marked as expired

Details

Antoine Brumel is probably the best composer you've never heard of. His Missa Et Ecce Terrae Motus, the Earthquake Mass, written in twelve parts, is a gem of early Renaissance polyphony, creating an ethereal wall of sound. If you like Thomas Tallis Spem in Alium , youll like this. Alongside the Mass there will be other more well-known Renaissance motets.
