John Etheridge & Vimala Rowe Quartet

John Etheridge and Vimala Rowe scored a resounding critical success with their album ‘Out of the Sky’, which was in the Top Ten Critic’s lists for 2016 in both the Guardian and Sunday Times. Vimala Rowe is a sensational singer who has mesmerised audiences since she emerged a few years ago and has the same wide ranging skills and tastes as Etheridge. They are ideal partners, alike in their search for musical adventure and authenticity. Tonight they will be joined by Pete Whittaker (organ) and George Double (drums) on many pieces, they will feature music from the album plus new repertoire which includes Vimala’s now celebrated tribute to Billie Holiday.
