Join us for our Annual Candlelit Christmas Concert on Thursday 5th December 2024! Once again our Candlelit Concert will be held at St Peter’s Church in Eaton Square, London. This is the perfect start to the Christmas season – Carols by Candlelight.
It has always been a star-studded evening and this year we have BBC's Lyse Doucet CM OBE and our wonderful Patron Lord Cope of Berkeley PC have promised to be with us, with special Guest Appearance from Bibi Heal and Stephen Barlow.
We are also delighted that Thames Fanfare Brass will once again be raising the roof. What would a Christmas Concert be without a Trumpet Fanfare?!
The angelic voices of the Queen’s Gate School Choirs will fill the church with gorgeous songs, together with wonderful harp music by Lesley Magee, and there will, of course, be plenty of favourite Christmas Carols too for you to join in with!
The concert will begin at 7.00pm and will be followed by Mulled Wine & Mince Pies (included in your ticket).
We will hold dear the memory of the late Timothy West CBE, who graced our concerts for many years as a Reader and had planned on joining us again this year. Timothy mesmerised audiences with his captivating presence and heartfelt readings, many of which were personal favourites he chose himself. We honour his friendship and unwavering dedication to changing lives for children in Darfur long-term.
Kids for Kids is the only organisation helping the forgotten children in the rural villages of Darfur, Sudan. Our concert will raise emergency funds for struggling families and children. We are not an emergency aid organisation but in desperate times we will not turn our backs on the people who need us the most. This year, more than ever, our hearts and thoughts go out to the forgotten families of Darfur.
Please help us make this year's magical Candlelit Christmas Concert the most successful ever and let’s work together to make 2025 a brighter year for the people of Darfur!
