Join Halifax Heritage Tours on this walk to celebrate some of the incredible women who have contributed to the heritage of Halifax. Explore their connection to the town from the first female solo air balloonist, a master sculptor, diarists, property owners and trailblazing women MPs, to role models who shaped our local history, nurtured philanthropy, dedicated their working lives to service, promoted the wellbeing of residents and workers and those who advocated for womens and civil rights. There is so much to share and Halifax Heritage Tours will offer you an insight into these amazing women to whom we owe so much

The meeting place for this tour will be at the bottom of the steps outside Halifax Central Library.

Any children under 18 booked on the event must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket for the event and will remain the responsibility of that parent or guardian at all times.
